Have you heard of ZYIA Active?  Its a young activewear brand that provides quality clothing without the hefty price tag of the retail stores.  When I first heard of ZYIA, it had taken over my gym.  I was getting invited to parties left and right.  I have this sense of responsibility that if I buy from one, I need to buy from them all and I just couldn't do it. So I held off on buying.  

Eventually, a family member had a party and I decided to buy to show my support. It took me a while to decide what to try and I went back and forth about what size to get.  (No one likes dealing with returns - me included.) I ended up purchasing the Black Peak Zipper joggers.... wow! The fabric, the comfort, the stretch... I was impressed!

Shortly after my first purchase a friend of mine decided to join ZYIA as an Independent Rep and I decided to host a party to get her business off the ground and to snag myself some free and 1/2 price gear (because hello - that's what friends do... and I love a discount!) I hosted the party and earned a boat load of goodies but still hadn't jumped on the train to become a rep myself.  I mean ME? Sales? MLM? I wasn't so sure about that!

A few weeks later, I discussed the opportunity with my husband and decided to take the leap.  So why did I make that decision? Let's keep on reading! 

I enjoy living an active lifestyle and I believe in all of the benefits of exercising regularly.  Activewear is part of my every day life and  I had fallen in love with the ZYIA brand.  It completely out-performed my Under Armour leggings and I needed more.  Thus a 25% discount on all the clothes that I knew I was going to be buying anyway... no brainer! 

I joined ZYIA a little over 4 months after my daughter was born.  I had been talking with mommas everywhere that no longer knew their identity outside of being a mom. They were sharing their struggles, their fears and so much more.  I was determined to take action to ensure I continued to reach for my goals and dreams.  I am a firm believer that we must take care of ourselves before we can truly take care of others.  

As I mentioned above, I joined ZYIA when my daughter was itty bitty.  Some might think I was crazy but after I spent the last 3 months at home with crazy hormones, minimal adult interaction, and a new stage of life, I was yearning for community.  I had watched so many others join direct sales companies and I saw the sisterhood that often came along with it all.  When I found ZYIA, I knew it was a product I loved and I saw a community that I wanted to be a part of! 

The 4 reasons above are a few of the things I took into consideration before I jumped into this business.  However, I didn't have a lot of confidence.  I mean me, selling? But what I discovered was I'm not selling... I'm sharing.  I'm sharing a product I love in case someone else might love it too.  If you do love it... we are now best friends! If you don't love it... that's ok too.  Overall, I told my husband the starter kit was a great deal, so worst case scenario was I got some discounted activewear.  Best case scenario... I fell in love with the business. Today, I absolutely fell in love!
