1. Plan Ahead

As mommas, we have a million balls in the air that we are trying to juggle and without a plan, one is bound to fall quickly! A Mom Boss is on top of her game and a time management master! Learning to plan out your life will keep you on track and reduce the risk of missing important deadlines or events. Schedule in the time you plan to work on your business just as you would your daughter's doctor's appointment.  We all know things don't go as planned with you are raising littles, so plan ahead  just in case life throws you a curve ball and you'll be prepared to face it head on. 

2. Beat Procrastination

Procrastination creeps in when we are feeling inadequate or are feeling scattered and it will further limit your productivity.  As mommas, we don't have time for that.  When you are running a business, things need to get done in a short amount of time... hello naptime hustle! You must shut off that voice in your head and fight back.  Try setting a timer and focus on the one task that you have been putting off.  It will be surprising what you can get done! 

3. Get Some Sleep

Sleep is important and as mommas we are often lacking it.  However, if you are sleep-deprived you will often be more anxious, overwhelmed, and scatter-brained.  Nobody has time for that.  Momma  has goals but those goals will become harder to reach if you aren't focused.  So shut off the Netflix serious, hit the pillow and awake in the morning refreshed and ready to work towards that next business goal!

4. Prioritize

Ok who has a to-do-list... that's 5 pages long. Umm first, overwhelm.  Second, where do you even start.  Now don't get me wrong I have a huge list of things that need to get done but we all know there are many items on there that are wishes and not all that important.  So we need to learn to prioritize.  Go ahead and keep that huge list as a Wish List, but every night, identify the 3 things that need to be done tomorrow. These should be the most important items that actually move you towards your goals.  Going into your day with a plan will take the guesswork out of what needs to be done.  Just wake up an get to work! 

5. Be Intentional and Focus

Motherhood pulls you in a million directions.  You are managing all the appointments, determining who needs to be where, making sure everyone is fed and bathed and a million other things! Through a dream of build a business in the middle of it all and some would say you are nuts! However, I believe its possible with intentionality and focus.  When you are working on your business, work on your business.  When you are spending time with your kids, spend time with your kids.  To be the best your can be for you kiddos, you must live in the moment you are in and carve our time to specifically work on your business! (This will help with the mom guilt too!)
